Manufacturing technology that guarantees dimensional stability, exposed concrete quality for the surfaces and efficient working is required for manufacturing flat precast concrete parts such as ceilings, walls and façade panels. Beta now also offers a complete formwork system based on magnetic technology for this application. In the development process our comprehensive experience from cooperation with precast concrete plants was invaluable in ensuring that the formwork equipment meets the requirements for accuracy, application safety and robustness. The Beta power magnet is a real powerhouse.
With just 5 kg of weight, it has a holding force of 21,000 N. The newly developed formwork system for solid walls is flexible in height as it is not a rigidly welded element. Simple replacement of the stiffening ribs varies the height between 95 mm and 395 mm. With the pre-screwed formwork skin or steel sheeting, this enables formwork heights from 100 to 500 mm to be achieved. Higher formwork is also possible by using additional bracing. The system is also low-weight.
At 3 m long, the light design (H = 195 mm) with struts made from aluminium, weighs just 12 kg. Thanks to the high bending stiffness of the standard system, 2 BBM XXL magnets are enough to hold 3 to 4 m of formwork. Alternatively, there is the BMS formwork system with 5 mm thick steel struts (double edged). This ensures high stability when shuttering. Formwork for applications in the areas of ceiling elements and wall elements can likewise be supplied. Either as the classic mould magnets and U-formwork individually or with integrated magnets.
