Moulds for jacking pipes
Our jacking pipe moulds enable the production of jacking pipes with a diameter of up to 4,000 mm. The steel moulds can be separated for transport to the pipe production site. Due to the modular design, the tube moulds can be converted in a short time, so that all three common tube types can be produced, even in different lengths.
As a result of the increasingly density of infrastructure and natural obstacles, it is worldwide becoming more and more necessary to lay pipelines using the jacking method. Such pipelines are made from special concrete or composite pipes, which have to withstand the high forces during installation and are individually designed for the later purpose of the pipeline. Our steel moulds make it possible to manufacture these modern pipes.

Design and benefits
Design and benefits of the mould
A steel cross, with the mounted mounted pallet, serves as a solid substructure for the pipe shape. The formwork core, which can be shrunk for stripping, and the expandable outer mould including the vibration technology are placed on top of this. The upper end is formed by the exchangeable spigot former ring, which moulds the spigot end on the pipe.
In order to produce pipes of different lengths, the position of the pallet inside the mould can be increased by a support basket. A concrete distributor designed specially to this mould ensures that the concrete is evenly distributed.
Benefits of the mould
- Mould can be split into several parts for transport
- Shrinkable core and expandable outer mould for simple demoulding
- Different pipe lengths possible due to support baskets
- Conversion of the mould for three pipe types (Jacking, Leading, Trailing pipe)
- Interchangeable profile ring for the spigot end of the tubes
- Integrated vibration technology for an optimal concrete structure
One mould for 3 pipe types
One mould for 3 pipe types
Depending on the pipeline length, up to three different pipe types (standard pipe, leading pipe and trailing pipe) are required for the jacking process.
Due to the modular design, all three pipe types can be produced with the same mould after appropriate conversion.
As a result, costs and space requirements are reduced both in the concrete plant and during transport.
Matching accessories
Matching accessories
Our concrete skips can be moved by crane or forklift and are used for the transport and clean dosing of the concrete.
Special cross lifting beams ensure safe and directionally stable handling of the pipes and moulds in the concrete plant.
Pipe jacking process
Pipe jacking process
In the pipe jacking process, at first two vertical shafts are excavated. The connection between the shafts is then made underground with a tunnel drill. The tunnel drill is pushed forward by the pipes inserted in the starting shaft with a press.
Benefits of the jacking technology
- Construction work largely weather-independent
- Above-ground activities almost trouble-free
- Minimal vibrations and emission pollution
- No groundwater lowering necessary
- Existing pipes and cables can be bypassed
- Gentle handling of nature and building structure
- Can also be used in densely built-up areas
